Smith And Merritt/College Partnership Sold me 2 years of financial coaching for $9995, only got 3 sessions and no refund Ripoff Sandy Utah

In February, I signed up for a 2 year financial coaching course, 25 sessions and some materials, costing $9995.00. I received 3 sessions and when I had no success trying to reach Smith and Merrit by phone or e-mail, I returned their material certified mail and request a refund of the balance of my "Tuition" after deducting the 3 coaching sessions. They claimed to have put my request to a "board" and my request was refused. I requested an appeal of the decision, they gave me elaborate and lengthy instructions on how to enter an appeal, which I followed to the letter. Shortly after I heard from the coaching company, who were hired by Smith and Merritt to conduct the coaching. They said all coaching would stop because Smith and Merritt was not paying them. Their telephone number is an answering machine and e-mails sent to them are returned as closed accounts and their websites have been taken down.

I contacted my credit card companies, but because S&M requested a cash transfer rather than having the charge on my card like any other retailer, they refused my fraud and charge back claim.

I would like to recover as much of the money stolen from me as possible.
