I wish I had read the other report about his sick puppies. I too fell victim to this liar and cheat. I bought a dog that is very sick as well. Parasites, ear mites, fleas, an ear infection, worms, and the list goes on. He is throwing up, has diarrhea, and has already cost me hundreds of dollars in vet bills.
Furthermore, I thought I was buying a maltipoo puppy, but in fact, I don't think he is. The "farm" that Tim lives on is filthy. The house has a terrible odor permeating through the front door and the dog I purchased smelled so bad we could hardly keep the poor little thing on our lap. I have given Tim the opportunity to respond about the true parents of this dog, about the "CKC registration," or about anything, but he is not contacting me. When another very unhappy person purchased a sick dog from him and posted it, he called that person a Psycho because she had contacted him so much. I have sent him one email telling him all the things I mentioned above, giving him the opportunity to respond and be honest, but he has not and it is doubtful he ever will because he is not running a legitimate breeding service. A good breeder will show you the parents of the pup, a good breeder will show you the living conditions of all his animals, a good breeder will be concerned for the welfare of his dogs, and he does none of those things.
Tim Smith of Smith Family Farms is running nothing short of a puppy mill. He is a liar, a cheat, and sorry excuse for a breeder, and a person. As I told him, I am hoping that our puppy survives because I have two young children who wanted a dog and sadly, they got one that is not healthy and is not what he was advertised to be. Tim, you say you have a young daughter. How sad that you are teaching her how to be a deceitful, sorry excuse of a man and how to inhumanly raise dogs. Truly pitiful.
If anyone does any research, please do not buy from this man. You will not be getting the dog he advertises, your dog will not be healthy, and you will regret doing business with this slim ball. Class action law suite? I'd be in. Somebody please just save these dogs and shut down this man for good.
