I thought we were intelligent people who have learned to make good choices...obviously, I was wrong. All of the employees at Smith & Merritt are VERY good actors because they came across SO sincere, honest and really caring. We spent $8,000 for a one year program of information and coaching sessions in June 2006 to help us break through financial barriers that were keeping us from achieving our goals.
In August of 2006 our "coach" went on a month long vacation then sessions were never resumed. In December 2006 we were told that Smith & Merritt had merged with College Partnership. In February 2007 we got assigned a new "coach". Shortly after that we were told to contact College Partnership and they sent us to Smith & Merritt's attorney. NO ONE is taking responsibility!
Their pictures on the cover of the binder they sent us is of them laughing...at us and others, I'm sure as they've taken the money and ran.
