Smith Properties Darryl Smith Car damaged by faulty garage door. Persistent Leak in unit damaging personal property, hasn't been addressed. Hammond Louisiana

Moved to Maritime One Apartments in Baton Rouge. Shorty after the parking garage flooded with 2 feet of water my wife was backing out and the automatic garage door closed on the back of her car causing damage. I made 20 plus phone calls and numerous emails and Darryl Smith won't man up and return a phone call.

Last week the ceiling started to leak. I will say maintenance was prompt in coming out but has no idea where the leak is coming from and no idea how to stop it. I have several personal items that have been damaged due to the leak and made several calls and emails with again no response from anyone at Smith Properties.

Hired an attorney to recoup my losses from what would have taken a simple return phone call from management and a reasonable solution for damages. I am notifying the Louisiana Housing Department to file an official complaint.
