Smiths Landing or Norm & Karen Rosenbrock Found more water than we needed at Smith's Landing on Wixom Lake ! Beaverton Michigan

I am writing this rebuttal in regard to the above complaint about "water in gas." My family and I have been campers/boaters at Smith's Landing in excess of 5 years. At no time have we ever had any problems with the gas, which we exclusively use "Smith's Landing" to fill our boat.

Furthermore, the staff (family) at Smith's Landing has never been anything less than helpful. They have gone out of their way to help the customers of Wixom Lake. I have witnessed them on numerous occassions tow boats in, help those with issues with their boats, campers, etc. This is a family run business that treats everyone as their own family.

It is sad to me that one would "assume" that the issues they have are a direct result of the last purchase they made and not give it a thought that they probably did not fill up without a spec of gas in their boat. Reports like these can cause damage to one's reputation and business that it has taken years to build.

While your situation was unfortunate, I stand firm that we have never had an issue with the gas at Smith's Landing. This campground/store/gas station comes highly recommended by me and my family. 

 we had people getting gas from us for years and never had a problem you called the state they came out and test for water and there was no water in the gas so if you want to keep running your mouth come talk to me I'll be at the campground sincerely, Lewis lmontecarlo669@aol.com
