I placed an order for a snuggie blanket tonight. I was offered a second blanket "for free" which I accepted.
The cost for the merchandise was $ 19.95.
IN ADDITION to this, I was charged $ 14.95 for "P & H" AND $ 31.80 for shipping. $ 46.75 for shipping and handling!!! For two blankets! And not one warning or announcement of these charges BEFORE the order was complete and posted.
They are also not able to fill the order, actually. The 1-800 "customer service" automated answering machine announces that they can ship at the earliest in 4 weeks.
There is no physical address, no name, no email address, no telephone number. My "order confirmation" did not contain a single hint where or how to contact anyone at this "company". I don't even know how to take the order back!
Clearly a scam company and a fraudulent operation. I'm looking for legal advice or any hint how to proceed with this.
