Users beware, make sure you know what you're getting into here with Socialbakers.

I was working on year end analytics for social platforms and needed historical results dating back a year. I thought SocialBakers would be a great way to find this information, and it really seemed so! When I signed up for the account and paid for the first tier of membership, I discovered that they were not offering historical data back that far.

Their pricing/plan upgrade interfact makes it look like if you upgrade, you'll get the full historical results. So, being a bit naive, I upgrade to the max plan they offered (approx $600~) in hopes that I would get this information I needed. My reporting was to be submitted within days, so I did not have time to wait and on good faith, I acted and upgraded my plan to the max. Normally when you work with internet services, they hold back the most data to the most expensive plan. This was NOT the case.

I then discovered the historical data was STILL not available, and I needed to have an Enterprise Solutions account. I wasted over $600 for data I could not even use.

I do understand that a bit of this is my fault, I should have contacted them (it was the weekend) and made sure that I would be getting exactly what I needed for such a huge purchase. I contacted them to explain the situation, and to at least ask to be refunded the majority of my spend, and be brought down to the first tier of purchase. They've denied this request after making me wait through weeks of unanswered emails.

I feel very mislead by the website, and the sales team here. I wouldn't recommend using this service. The least they could have done is refunded me a bit of the spend since I could not get the data I needed.

I'm writing this to ensure it doesn't happen to anyone else, like myself, again. I definitely can't afford the amount that I have to pay out of my own pocket here.
