SOFA U LOATHE--I seriously regret ignoring previous negative reviews posted about Sofa U Love on Yelp, BBB, and Ripoff Report.
Sofa sectional arrived:
1. (20+) threads exposed
2. Cushion firmness incorrect.
3. Silver legs back ordered, cheap plastic brown ones attached. Told I'd be installing the silver ones or to bring the sofa back in. Excited by it's arrival I only complained about the cushion firmness, sales woman said they will flatten out soon and not to worry about it. Little did I know these were indicators of a defective and substandard product, as well as very shaddy company.
After only 3 weeks:
1. Cushion stitching pulling apart
2. Material wearing & pillowing
3. Bunching around the corners.
4. Zipper slider fell off as there were no tape ends.
Contacted the owner Vic with no response after sending photos (viewable at http://youtu.be/g4PxOx...),
I emailed again saying If I don't hear back I will drop the sofa back at the store, be filing a dispute
with my credit card company and posting reviews on social media. Upon seeing this review I expect I will finally receive an answer apologizing for the inconvenience and how he really wants to make things right.
I plan on contacting the lawyer working on filing a class action suit against Sofa U Love. PLEASE don't buy from this company!

01/13/12:: Santa Barbara sales woman, Chryssa, left phone message that the sofa was returned to the warehouse and Vic is going to make a brand new sofa. Requested I come to the store and choose different fabric with higher durability and how this time she will monitor the sofa is correctly completed and won't be a painful process like the first sofa.
I returned the call and left a message, simply stating I will only accept a full refund as I had communicated in the email I sent to Vic last week.
This company is untrustworthy and produced a substandard product. They were unable to deliver a high quality $2,100 sofa, a sofa not with a few minor issues but multiple egregious errors and it took the owner (1) week to respond to my complaint which was through his store's sales agent which coincidentally occurred after posting negative reviews. I don't want a brand new sofa made, I just want my money back!
