I have adopted a puppy 2.5 years ago.. From my first contact with Barbara she has always been very pleasant and very knowledgable.. Not only have I gotten a beautiful healthy puppy.. But I get stopped all the time..with people saying what a beautiful dog.. I immediatly get out paper and pen and would recomend her in a heartbeat..I am again going to adopt another Soho fur baby.. And Barbara is very patient.. Thank you for that lol..1 more thing Barbara is always there after for any questions or concerns... HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMENDED... A+ top notch Hobby Breeder. 

Are you kidding me that you filed a fake report?  Anyone who deals with Barbara, Soho Shih Tzu, knows that she is very involved in the process of getting a puppy.  She knows ALL of her customers by name.  There's no way that she would not respond if your puppy died.  I think you totally made this up.  I spoke to her many times on the phone prior to getting my puppy and she hand delivered it.  I contacted her a couple time after getting the dog and she responded quickly. 

By the way, you clearly did not contact the better business BUREAU if you do not even know the name of the organization.  Liar liar liar.  Why are you preventing future customers from getting sweet puppies???

I hope Soho Shih Tzu sues you for defamation.  My little puppy is the most lovable creature ever.  She is sweet and adorable.

I was so happy with my purchase 3 years ago with Barbara and her little puppies, that I once again purchased a pup this year. Both times Barbara( the owner) was professional, honest and kept me in the loop while my little ones were growing with their mom and sisters and brothers. She sent pictures and videos. My family went to get our first puppy and we were able to see their beautiful home in Suffolk. Our little boy was happy and when we brought him home he was just perfect (OK'd by the vet immediately!)

Our second puppy is just as cute as our first. Because Barbara and her husband live in another place, we happily met them to pick up our "baby"  And once again, immediately OK'd by the VET.  We were thrilled.

Both our dogs were healthy and have the best personalities/dispositions- I feel it is the breeding and the love they are given at the beginning of their lives.   Both of our pups are great with the kids and with everyone who enters our home. Plus they have the cutest little faces, and beautiful coloring. Tails are great too!!!   Our dogs are 9 lbs. and 5 lbs of pure fluff!

We highly recommend Soho Shih tzu's to all our friends and to anyone who is interested. We even keep in touch with some of the owners of the other pups from our litters!!!!!!

I can not say enough great things about Barbara and Bob. I have two of the most beautiful shih tzus and in just me purchasing pets, also gained two wonderful friends. Seeing someone  attack them on here breaks my heart because what ever personal problem they might have with them..noone should ever slander someone on a public forum. And its very easy to see that the intention is to hurt Barbara...anyone that has met Barbara for five seconds will know that her dogs are the most important thing to her. She doesnt breed her pups for money..she does it as a hobby and out of love for the breed. She puts so much love and effort into making people happy with their pets. I purchased a pet two years ago and have had not one health problem...and got another one a year ago and she is the most adorable tiny emperial shih tzu! Even my vet and groomer have pics of my little Chanel because no one had seen such a little beauty. Its clear she came from wonderful parents and Barbara did a great job taking care of them . When i first brought Chanel home , I was very nervous because she was so tiny and was afraid she wasn't eating enough. I must have called Barbra a hundred times that day and she answered every time giving me advice..she even took time out of her weekend to let me bring Chanel over so she could weigh her to reassure me she was eating enough...and tried different foods out to help me keep her on a proper diet. Both my pups are perfection..I was worrying for nothing but Barbara never once made me feel like i was being crazy and was so helpful and I am beyond grateful. I always ask her advice as my second opinion next to my vet because she does know the breed and does care. I cant see any reports on her selling dying pups and not refunding miney being true at all. Its clear once you pull up to her home that she doesnt need the money from breeding AND surely cant be on welfare. They have a beautiful home and treat me like family. I really hope that someone interested in a puppy believes in the positive messages and looks at the countless happy faces and families she has helped create by placing these pups in homes and ignores the disgusting lies! Her website shows all the puppy families and the pics dont lie. Check that out on the soho shih tzu website and then make your decision. I think she is a sweetheart and will always be thankful to her for her help and my two beautiful girls! Missy

First of all I would like to say how awful it is that this person Heidi is trying to spread lies about her family. "Shame on you" for saying such awful and absolutely ridiculous things about your aunt. You know full well that you are lieing out your a*s but since you like to tango lets dance. :)

  I found Barbara and SOHOSHIHTZU after months of rigorous searching for a reputable breeder. I had high expectations and would not settle for a heartless , just in it for the money type person. After speaking with Barbara the very first time I immediately felt at ease. She knew so much about the breed and was was very forthcoming with whatever questions I had for her.

I put down my 100.00 deposit with no hesitation and during the wait time for my puppy Barbara updated me with pictures of not only the puppy but also the parents of my dog. When it was time for delivery, She drove all the way from another state and dressed the puppy in an adorable sweater along with instructions and food for her. This dog is so gorgeous that I literally walk outside my door and receive compliments on her unique color and personality. We are absolutely in LOVE with our baby and have a deposit down for another. 

I could not be happier with the service and quality that I received from Barbara. I truthfully could not say enough about her and this is why it saddens me to see such a wonderful breeder being ripped apart with lies. 

HEIDI, a little advice, if you are going to bad mouth people on this website and actually want people to not mistake you for the liar you are, you should actually learn some proper English and invest your time in learning something called "spell check". Please stop. 

 Heidi, we are just 2 retired people trying to have our hobby breeding program,as my wife and daughter love the dogs and puppies so much,, so why would you try to write bad things that are not true about us.Since i cant get in touch with you and this continues, you leave me no choice but to go to your in laws house on Richmond ave in Massapequa, to see if they can help me resolve this. I hope this doesnt continue and you live your life in Hicksville with your new husband without DRAMA.

I bought a shih tzu from Soho Shihtzus close to a yr ago and can not believe someone would defame Barabara in this way. I honestly came across this while searching to see if Barbara had any new puppies to adopt! My puppy is in great health and nothing short of a genius...she was already trained and sleeping through the night the day i picked her up. Barbara even sent me home with a long list of helpful tips and food, toys and clothes! I have been to her home in Florida many times and it far from shambles..

In fact, I was considering buying it when she told me she was debating on selling it! Barbara is the ONLY person that i trust to pet-sit Coco because she has always been so helpful anytime I call her with questions..for instance, when Coco was getting her shots and was fixed Barbara helpd me find a wonderful vet and helped me with her aftercare..I always run everything by her! I would never take my time to respond to these false allegation unless it really made me mad..

I would hate for anyone to miss out on getting any of her amazing puppies over reading outrageous lies. People stop me to stare at Coco everytime i take her anywhere because she is so uniquely beautiful. Coco gets so much attention that even when she isnt with me people in my local town ask about her! She has such a wonderful demeanor and has been wonderful since the day I got her that I have to give Barbara credit for it..I have never seen anyone treat their pets the way she does! Thank u. I have personally been to Barbara's house in Wading River on more than one occasion and I can tell you that her house is not a shambles.  It is a beautiful home...immaculate.  The first time I went there I couldn't even believe she actually bred dogs there it was so clean.  I purchased my Gizmo from her in 2010 and am currently waiting to purchase my second puppy from her.  Gizmo is the most loving little dog you could every have and I could tell immediately that he was raised in a home with someone who loved him very much before I had him.  Barbara is one of the nicest people I have ever met and was nothing but helpful, informative and honest with me from the very beginning.  Why someone would lie the way they have in the original first 2 posts is beyond me but I can say I have never had a more wonderful relationship with a breeder and I have dealt with many. There is absolutely no scam going on here.  The only scam here is the one being run by the author of the first original posts.
