Carlos was hired to complete a roof for me.  Lied to me about his profession.  I didn't find out he was just a concrete layer until halfway through the job when I started to notice shingles being misaligned, crooked and even upside down. 

I gave this moron $300 to start in cash, had to buy additional shingles to allow him to fix his mistakes.

I also received phone calls from neighbors saying that he had his kids (ages 2-7), half naked running around the jobsite without shoes on, pooping in the backyard and they even broke a window of the neighbors house, which of course, I had to repair at my expense. 

Don't hire Carlos Solis of Missouri.  (also from california, minnesota, Arizona, Texas and all the other states that he was probably kicked out of.)

I had to drop by this tiny house, which a normal roofing crew can finish in a day, numerous times to tell them to take the kids away to a hotel.  These kids look like they were right off of a help commercial!  I felt so bad for them!  They were told (and yelled at) by their mother to help pick up these fiberglass infested shingles with no gloves, no shoes  and with nails sticking out of them were putting them in a trailer!!!  I even gave them money for the hotel.  I helped him fix his truck by paying him in cash halfway through the job.  I told him numerously that the kids were NOT to be there ever!

I asked for insurance, he produced a piece of paper with some phone number to a real estate agent!! 

Finally, the job was done, to underpar condition, I had to pay him to leave!  I then had a responsible person come in and fix his shingles, step flashing and other problems he had caused.

And as I was driving away, he threw a rock through my window.   And I had paid him the entire contracted amount minus a dump fee which he was supposed to pay.  I have the proof along with a video of him taking the money and throwing a rock at my car.

This guy is  a LOSER!   Do not hire him no matter how pretty these supposed job pictures he has of concrete are. 

His father in law was a very nice guy though.  He should be running this "company".
