Sona Med Spa ripoff Went out of Business Lied Tampa Florida

Sona MedSpa in Hyde Park continued to take customer's money when they knew they were going out of business. I paid them 949.00 for laser hair removal- for a package of 5 treatments.

Before my second appointment they called to tell me the lasers were down. I got the same call before my next rescheduled appointment. When I rescheduled yet again I showed up and they told me I was too late to be treated, I was 4 minutes late, they said sorry we already took the next patient. Then I rescheduled yet again for later that week and they called me to tell be they were closing their doors. They told me to contact Perfect Laser Touch who would take over my treatment. When I contacted them they said they had no such deal. They would treat me but I would have to pay again.

Long story short- Sona Med Spa filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy, they had know for awhile their business was failing- yet they continued to enter into package treatment deals with customers- taking their money up front.

Fraud!!!!! The business model is weak and franchises are failing left and right. A Doctor I know who works in the industry told me the whole company is in trouble and the main owner is shady. I would be cautious of purchasing any package deals from Sona MedSpa. You may be like me and several other of my friends- we are out all of our money. I had four treatments left, I can file a claim against them, but I will be lucky to get a few cents on the dollar.

If you want laser hair removal- go to a Dermatologist or make sure you pay per visit so you don't get burned like I did.
