SONY CORP PS3 bronken 2 times in 1.5 year, Internet

I paid 499.oo for this playstation 3 system in 2008 and had to send it back after 2 months of recevening because of no disc space error. Than under warrenty repaired and returned. Now 1 year 3 months later the thing won't even show a picture or make a sound. I contact Sony and they want to charge 189.00 with shipping to fix the problem. this outragously insang for some one to pay this amount to repair a system that you paid 500.00 dollar for and have only had it for 1.5 year. and now they have the same PS3 for 299.99. You would do better buying a new for the cost of repairs. No one has 300.00 for new or 200.00 to repair a playstation every year and half. Something needs to done about this. This is definily a rip off. it's bad enough sony has made a system that cost $40, $50, $60 and more in games to even play the system and not mention the controller's I have had to purchase 4 controller with in 1.5 years and the controllers cost almost 60.00 each. I brought this for my son and we have taken good care of this Ps3 80g updating it reg. this is just a bad investment. I don't recommend anyone to buy a playstation 3.
