This company Sophisticated Systems will not pay you for your work.!!!! They will make you sign a contract stating they will only pay you after they get paid by their client. I worked there for a month and never got paid. Their excuse is they are asking their client to pay them first. Watch out, this place is a sweat shop run by bunch of scammers, liars and con artists. The only thing they are sophisticated in is Deception. Shame on you Dwight Smith.? The information provided by Rod is unfortunate. There are a few untold facts that hopefully will clear things up.
First, as a subcontractor to my firm, Rod signed a legally binding contract that clearly specified that he would be paid within five days of SSI receiving payment. In our 20 year history we have never failed on a single occasion to honor our contractual agreements....not one single instance.
The fact is that we are still awaiting payment from the client. I would be very happy to provide a copy of Rod's contract to anyone requesting such....simply contract me at Sophisticated Systems in Columbus, Ohio. Secondly, Rod interviewed with the client prior to signing on and clearly understood the financials associated with this particular project. This fact is also easily confirmed.
We are continuing to work with our client to arrange payment terms. Lastly, per the e-mail that I have attached from Rod and as the result of escaluating tensions on his part, coupled with threats I was advised to file a police report for reasons of personal safety. I encourage you to confirm.
The report is on file with the Franklin County (Ohio) Sheriff's Department....again, can be confirmed. In closing, it is SSI's intent to honor our contract with Rod in order to do what is fair and also to protect our record of 100% compliance.
This situation is unfortunate however I believe that when parties clearly understand the facts and agree to a contract then the terms should be honored --- full disclosure certainly occurred upfront. In closing I am confident that several parties, including the recruiter that recommended Rod to SSI, the client, and members of the SSI management would be willing to confirm with 100% consistency the information included in this rebuttal. Thank you.

Contract or not, YOU are the only one who owes me the money, and no one else, so stop bringing other people into this.
