My friend went to her several months ago, and not only has she failed to cite anything actually psychic that she has said, she actually told my friend that she needs to "distance" herself from me on the grounds that I wanted our friendship to be more than it was or something like that.

That last statement is a blanket statement (the hallmark of fake psychics, along with fear tactics), which could be said about anyone on this planet, since no one is really 100% happy with their friendships at any given time. Also, no real psychic on this planet would tell one stranger to terminate their friendship with another complete stranger on the grounds that it wasn't 100% perfect. The sad thing is my friend was gullible enough to take this to heart, placing a wall like you wouldn't believe and effectively ending our friendship.

I'm sorry but all of this screams sham psychic to me. Even if psychics were that clairvoyant to make a judgment call as insane as whether or not you should be friends with someone they don't know at all, it's not their place to say that to begin with. I'm pretty sure real psychics wouldn't consider their purpose in life to destroy relationships between two complete strangers simply because "they're psychic and said so." Some people are gullible and will look to anyone and anything for answers, preying on their uncertainties is not cool imo.

If they really were that psychic, they would be cleaning out Vegas, not charging people for blanket statements that could be said about anyone.
