Soundbuilt Homes Cheap builder and the worst customer services Puyallup Washington

If you are in the market buying a home, stay away from this builder. Take this from a soundbuilt home owner and if there is not enough reasons, I would not filing a report here: This is a cheap builder. Not sure for the reason of saving construction cost or bad subcontractors, the material they used are very cheap and some of them are just scrap wood. If you don't do a good inspection, you will take the lost.

Pay attation to roofing, plumbing, crawl space, attic and those area you will normally won't see. We are first time home buyers and we have not much knowledge on construction. But we spotted about 20 problems when we did the initial walk through with the builder. We found another dozen problems when we hired a professional inspector.

Before you sign the buying contract, the builder will treat you fine. But once you pay them, they treat you like crap. Customer service probably created more frastration than the builder. The phone line is always answered by an recording. Your message or email inqueries will not get answered for weeks. If they answered, they will give you ran-around. You have to contact contractors to get problem fixed. Even in the warrenty period, you will told that you may have to pay the repair cost. One of my neighboor had the similar experience with the customer service and plan to sue the company for many other problems related to the quality of the house.
