Me & my husband bought a timeshare through Burroughs & Chapin a couple of years ago. Recently, this company sold to Orange Lake Resorts Inc. Ever since they changed over we have had nothing but problems. We have yet to receive a contract from them. Granted we were late on a payment and once they sent a payment through my checking account without my consent. I spent almost a month going back & forth with them providing proof from my bank that they did send an unauthorized payment through so they agreed to pay me the NSF fee. One other time we didn't have enough money in my account due to unforeseen circunstances. Little did we know, that if you have you autopay payment bounce more than twice then you have to resubmit your information within so many days or your account gets audited & your interest goes up. I was nastily told that it was in my contract but we never received one from the new company! I have asked to speak to the manager countless times but I'm convinced there's not one there. They tell me you are put into a queue & depending on how many people request to talk to one, it may take days....haven't heard that one before.

Also, something else I find really wrong that I happened to learn over my many times of talking to them that if you happen to get an attitiude with them, they make a note in their comments section of your account that you are irate, so even if you talk to someone you've never talked to before, you get a nasty attitude from the start. We never had a problem with Burroughs & Chapin. When we signed we were told our timeshare is guaranteed as long as Burroughs & Chapin are still in business, where did that go? I feel sorry for the poor woman from North Carolina who bought another timeshare from them. They told us the same EXACT thing but something smelled fishy about that so we didn't. We also didn't do it because we were happy with what we had. The lady was extremely aggressive but we still didn't buy from her. I told my husband next year when we get our taxes I want to pay them off so we don't have to deal with the mortgage dept. any more. Like I said, we have yet to recieve a new contract from them & they should have given us the option if we wanted our timeshare or not. I do not like this new company or the way they bully people. Thank you!
