I wish I had gone to Rip off Report before enlisting the services of this "company."  Everything as stated in the prior report happened to me today.  Michael, the "technician" came to home.  I ordered an air duct cleaning (one month only 99.95 special), a "free" mold inspection," and that my furnace be serviced. 

It's hard to make a long story short, but here it goes...  Michael took all of 5 minutes to look around my home.  He approached me with an  $800 estimate, to supposedley eradicate all mold in my home with "special chemicals,"  and to service my furnace.  I told him there was no way I could afford that.  He quickly told me he could apply numerous discounts.  He then flipped out his cell and called his "boss."  During this "conversation" with his boss (who knows if the call was real), he stated I was a senior citizen with 3 children and he wanted to "help me out." At that point, I should have known he was a con artist and thrown him out.  He quickly ended the call and tried to negotiate the 3 times going from the original $800 all the way down to $250.  The $250 was to include the basic duct cleaning, the addition of Sporicidin via "fog", and the furnace service.  Roughly 20 minutes later, he comes back saying he's done, however, he could not light the pilot on my furnace.  He also told me I had to purchase my own filter from Home Depot or Lowes and replace it myself.  Furthermore, he didn't even know how to find the coils!  I was obviously livid and demanded to know what $250 included.  He continuously double talked me and then said he did the $800 service for $250.  I also asked why he didn't clean all the vents. He stated only 3 needed attention, although they are all connected!  My bill also states he serviced all vents.  That's obviously a lie, as the vents are painted over and are visibly untouched.   He kept stating how he felt bad and he would do the other vents (7 more), but it was not really necessary and it would leave scarring around the grates.  Wanting to get him the h*ll out of my house, I reluctantly gave him payment.  After paying, he stated he would come back "on his own time." If the job was as complete as he emphasized it was, why would he need to return?  Why would he feel so "bad?"  I just told him not to bother. I placed a call to voice a complaint with "Jamie," the "receptionist," who no doubtedly was lying when she stated she would forward my concerns to the "owner" "John."  My story is more detailed, however, I wanted to provide the main reasons this company and their "services" are completely misleading and fraudulent.  I fully intend to dispute the "service" charges.  I hope and pray that the money I was robbed of will prevent others from being defrauded by this sham of a business.  I will make it my personal mission to ensure I reach every possible website, search engine, and newscast within my power to prevent other hard working victims like myself.
