Southeast Michigan Wedding Officiants Always and Forever Ceremonies, Failed to honor our contract and took my money on my wedding day, Internet

I hired Reverend Christine Drewry from Southeast Michigan Wedding officiants Always and Forever Ceremonies on May 5, 2010. She was hired to write a semi custom wedding ceremony, perform rehearsal, and perform wedding ceremony. I paid her in full $350 on May 5, 2010 upon meeting her for the first time and signing the contract. She told me I would have the wedding ceremony by July 20, 2010-30 days before the ceremony to edit and make changes. I had to call her repeatedly and email her repeatedly in order to get my ceremony. On August 7, 2010 I received my ceremony with many grammar, spelling, and incorrect names throughout the document. I let that go. I sent it back to her with changes and revisions. On August 17 she was sent the itinerary for the rehearsal and wedding with no response as to what time she would be there for either function.

On August 19 she failed to show or call for rehearsal. I called and emailed her several times without response. I called her on the day of my wedding as did my bridal party with no response. I had to hire Sally Street to perform my wedding at the last minute. I paid her $659 on top of what Reverand Drewry had been paid. She finally called my wedding coordinator and husband at noon the day of my wedding with some bull crap story about a family emergency. Well we had entered into a verbal and written agreement that stated her or her husband would facilitate both functions and neither happened. She told my husband that she would refund me my money. The money has never been refunded and she isnt responding to emails or phone calls. She cashed the check on May 10, 2010.  I have copies of the signed check, contract, and bank statements, phone records, etc.  I have contacted the BBB and Attorney General of Michigan. A different Reverand contacted me back and told me that this isnt the first time she has done this. She indicated that she had to cover several weddings just like this due to Reverand Drewry leaving brides high and dry on their wedding day. DO NOT USE HER UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE STRESSED OUT AND OUT LOTS OF MONEY!!!
