Southern Bridal Registry Thank you RipOffReport & Google!!! Based In Nashville Nationwide

Thanks to Ripoff Report and Google I will not be a victim of Southern Bridal Registry's sales tactics!!!!!!

Like many others, I received a phone call from Southern Bridal Registry claiming that I was selected to receive a $500 gift certificate and free honeymoon with all expenses paid. And all I had to do was attend a free cooking demonstration at the Sheraton Metairie New Orleans Hotel. I asked "Crystal" if there was a catch and she responded that there was not. I also asked her, "Where did I register and was selected for this?" And her red-flag response was that a family member or friend my have entered me.

Well, I knew that was false information because my fiancee and I are eloping and no one else knows.

Immediately I thought back to what my father told me as a child:
"Nothing is free! If it sounds too good to be true...it is!"

So, "Crystal" gave me a claim number and reserved our place at the seminar.

Still very suspicious, I immediately logged onto my computer, went to Google, and typed in "Southern Bridal Registry". And here I am.

Needless to say, I WILL NOT be attending the "cooking show"! They can take that "claim number" and "free honeymoon" and shove it where the sun doesn't shine!!

Sorry to sound so juvenile, but honest & hardworking people don't need their time or money wasted by a company that needs to advertise something is "FREE" in order to lure you in to buy pots & pans.

So, my question is: "Where did Southern Bridal Registry get my information for solicitation?"
I have narrowed it down to one place...the only place I have gone since my engagement where I was required to fill out a rediculous amount of paperwork before I was allowed to try on a wedding dress in the store - DAVID'S BRIDAL!!

And this is not the first solicitation I have received on behalf of David's Bridal.

Thank, but no thanks, "David"! I have taken my business elsewhere solely because you have shared my personal information with solicitors!

Bride's Beware....you have enough to deal with.
