I have had numerous companies wanting me to allow them to take payments from my checking account from an old payday loan that tried to take more money than I agreed to give them each pay period. Now my checking account had to be closed due to the piling insufficient funds causing me problems paying bills.

Now they have more than one company calling on their behalf, I do not want to continue giving money to people that I really don't owe.

How can I be sure who is really getting the money?
