Southwest Dental Group; Southwest Dental Plan Takes three appointments and hundreds of dollars to get your teeth cleaned Peoria, Arizona

When you sign up for a senior dental plan ($56) you are told that the cost of cleanings is just $26 and an initial exam is just $14.  Sounds good....but just TRY to get a cleaning for anything near that amount.  On the first visit they chaged me $115 for a simple exam (including membership) but no cleaning.  Then they scheduled me for a "debridement" which I was told also included the cleaning.  When I showed up for that I was told the fee would be Apx. $125.  But wait....that didn't include the cleaning.  Not yet.  In fact I was told to schedule yet another visit for the actual cleaning and that would be an additional $25.  This same thing happened to my fiance.  She's going back for a third visit and her teeth are perfect.  She too has spent over $200 so far and her teeth are not cleaned yet.

There are pleny of dentists around town who would be happy to give me a simple exam and cleaning for around $90.  Total.  One visit.  Southwest Dental is a ripoff that sucks people in with a promise of low fees....then they sock it to you with all these multiple visits.  Don't be fulled by these people.....they're out to RIP YOU OFF!
