Southwest Kia Of Rosenberg Outright Liars Rosenberg Texas

After requesting price and availability quotes from 4 Kia dealerships in Houston area, I decided to visit Southwest Kia of Rosenberg (the last to contact me). They seemed, at least on the phone, to be the most sincere and interested in my business. First person (Ernest) to call me assured me that they had the vehicle I was looking for. Second person (Paul) to call informed me that I could get the vehicle I was looking for and they were offering $5,000 off MSRP. Third person (Don) to call left voicemail message that he was looking forward to meeting us (my wife and I) and getting the financing done on our new car. The fourth person (Eddie) met us as we arrived at the dealership and later showed us the vehicles that were available. The fifth person (Ali ?) "came to our rescue" when the vehicle we wanted could not be found at the dealership.

After a lengthy discussion with Ali about our credit difficulties, he assured me that it was not hopeless and that he didn't see any reason why we couldn't get financed. Ali asked what other vehicles we would be interested in and I told him that we would be seriously interested in a late model F150 or Explorer. He asked if we would like to take a look at a 2008 Explorer. I said That I didn't believe we could get the financing at a payment we could afford. He said that he could get us in the vehicle for the payment we could afford with our cash down and trade. I drove the Explorer, agreed to buy it, and had my wife look at it. Since the deal wasn't going to get finished at 9:00pm on Saturday, we were told that we would be called on Monday and we would be able to take delivery Monday night.

At 1:00pm, I called Ali and asked how things were going. At 1:30, Eddie called and asked if I could get a co-signer. I said NO and Eddie said he would call back. As of 8:00pm on Monday, no call back. I cancelled an appointment for some service on my current vehicle as I believed I was taking delivery on a newer one. My wife and I set aside all plans for the day and evening to be available to go to Rosenberg an pick up our new vehicle.

These people lied to us, strung us along for what? Is this some perverse game car salespeople play? I will not go back to Southwest Kia of Rosenberg and this report is just one of may I will make to save other people from the same frustration and anguish we have experienced.
