Ordered and received a 32 inch TV from Shopathometv and got a $100 instand rebate. Then there was another rebate for $100 that was to be mailed in. I mailed it in last January 28, 2006. Rebates were supposed to be received in 10-12 weeks.
I called SOYO Group and all they do is play dumb. Was told the check was in the mail. Right !!!! Called back and again they played dumb. Was told I have to wait 10-12 weeks. I already have waited 16 weeks. I think they hope most people will just give up. Again the rebate was for $100. Maybe they can't afford to give out their promised rebates. I see their stock is selling for 40cents. That's right 40 CENTS. Must be a big time company. I went to a web-site called checkingrebate.com. It shows that my rebate has been approved. Says the postmark was 03/28/2006. I mailed it in on 01/28/2006. I talked to a CSR named Janet and she did addmit that a lot of people have been calling in looking for their rebates. So as you can see I'm not just one odd complaint. Never again will I buy on line or from the TV. At least with WalMart if your dissatisfied you just march back to the store and they take care of you.

I finally got my rebate after not giving up. But SOYO Group is getting what they deserve. I was in contact with the attorney generals office in Calif, and learned that Soyo Group is under investigation. They have had to pay fines in addition to paying off the rebates. The attorney generals office has received over 900 complaints against SOYO. An just imagine what the total would be if you added in the people who didn't bother to complain. So if you haven't gotten your rebate, get in touch with the attorney general's office in Caif.

I finally got my $100 rebate after almost 6 months of waiting. I don't know if it was because of my constant calling them or they just decided to send it. But I would never ever buy anything from them. Hope nothing ever goes wrong with the TV. If you sent it back to them you probably never see it again. I doubt very much they would honor the 3 year warranty that was stated on shopathometv where I bought it from. Also Shop at home tv has gone out of business.
