Beware - I received a letter today 10/9/07 stating that I had won the Spanish sweepstake Loteria. In fact that I had actually won 615810.00 Euros. Apparently to claim this money, I have to contact my agent Dr. Pepe Douglas. According to the letter this Dr. Pepe Douglas is the Foreign Operational Manager for (wait for it) Santa Lucia Security Company S.A. Tel. 0034628590605. If I do not contact him by 15/10/07 I shall turn back into Cinderella, no sorry that is incorrect, infact I shall be disqualified from receiving all that prize money. It is so upsetting to realize that the prize would be returned to Ministerio De Economia y Hacienda as unclaimed. Enclosed with my letter is an A4 sheet of paper, it's a Lottery payment processing form, headed with Santa Lucia's security co's name, description, H.O. address, tel & fax number. It requires payment option, bank tranfer details e.g. all account info. And to top that - Next of kin details. Don't worry though these are only required because: (quote from form) in the absent or lost of contact with you. I laughed at this outrageous scam. But then I stopped because I know that I am a critical person. Always I believe that there is nothing for free and that if something sounds too good to be true, then it usually is. What about all the other people that received this scam. All the honest, caring and believing people. Someone should be looking out for them. This company should be tracked down and shut down. There is a good paper trail that could lead to the people responsible. Why should they get away with stealing other people's money?
