Spartan School Of Aeronautics Contract-breaking, dishonest, two-faced ripoff liars Tulsa Oklahoma

In November, 2002, I contacted Spartan School of Aeronautics for information regarding their Quality Control and Non-Destructive Testing program. Their field representative, Julie Sisneros, gave me all the information she had, including job placement assistance.

The short form is that Julie and her supervisor at Spartan (neither of whom work there now--very curious) told me that Spartan's rep was so stellar that employers would be so thrilled to have a Spartan student, I'd have a job within a week. With those assurances, I left my old job and tried Spartan.

Do you know what their job placement consists of? Handing students printouts of the unemployment office's available jobs, copies of the want ads, and sending them on their way. There was no "speaking up" for us, or "going to bat" for students, as I was promised. In fact, none of the fifty employers I contacted in my two weeks there had even heard of Spartan.

I eventually had to return home because there were no jobs available there that would allow me to support myself while I attended college. Curiously enough, a student in my morning physics class was talking to me and his friend about the job Spartan had given him. Apparently he was a shuttle van driver or some such, and making enough money that he was paying his rent and buying enough beer for the weekends, too.

Now Spartan has turned me over to a collection agency expecting me to pay for the two weeks I was in class. How nice. Break your contract then expect payment.

Spartan may have an excellent educational program and have fantastic technical training available, but only for those who can survive the lies and deception. Spartan refused to fulfill their end of the deal, and are now entitled to exactly nothing.
