Claimed to advertise car on their website and their ebay website and many other affilate websites by the weekend, they appeared to do so except when I clicked on the link, it was someone else's car they advertised. I did not appreciated this at all, I complained and they wanted to fix it, I demanded a refund as I will not deal with a company who makes mistakes like this.

I was contacted by their customer service department, I explained what had happened and I wanted a refund. They said a manager would call me. The original sales guys called the next day apologising and offering all sorts of thigns to make it better, I refused and wanted a refund, again I was told a manager woudl call me. No call back!

I emailed them again today and threatened to file this report if I had not heard anything by 4pm, nothing from this company.

Stay away from these people, just advertise on normal sites like autotrader etc.

FINAL RESOLUTION

AUTHOR: Grumpy-au - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, June 01, 2009

Speciality Auto was actually working on resolving this issue without my knowledge, I actually thought they were not responding to my emails, yet all along were actively reviewing the file before speaking to me.

Speciality Auto are certainly a legitmate company and I would definitely recommend them to anyone out there. My issues have been resolved in full, and shoudl I choose to sell a car again in the future, I would not hesitate in using them.

In hindsight filing this report was probably a bit hasty on my part, however I have been burnt before and was sick and tired of poor customer service, and Speciality Auto unfortunately wore the brunt of many other bad experiences. If I could remove this report I would do so.

ISSUE RESOLVED

AUTHOR: Grumpy-au - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 20, 2009

The company management did eventually contact me and left voicemail. The voicemail was not received until the next day (today). I have just spoken with the General Manager. He tried to explain that my emails and voicemails were not being ignored they were being investigated as they are very, very busy. I said it would be nice to have known that before such a sour taste was left in my mouth and resorting this using this website and filing a report.

Specialty Auto did try and resolve this issue, and ensure my satisfaction, I chose to not proceed with using this company because of the events that had transpired previously, the management thought that was harsh, and in all honesty it very well may have been.

Specialty Auto certainly did spring into action to resolve the issue once I filed this report, my only wish would have been to avoid this hassle with a quicker response. We both have agreed to a 50% refund and close this case and end on amicable terms.

I see no reason why other people would not chose to use Specialty Auto based on my experiences.

Several emails sent, "read" and not returned. Voicemail messages left for consultants and thus far not returned. Sugest people stay well away from this company. If they cannot return calls and emails and follow up with a complaint, then that speaks volumes for the company.!
