This company does not adhere to its privacy policy and delivers substandard products.

Last fall (Sept 2006), I ordered a winter pool cover from this company. I made sure to check the privacy policy of this company and was satisfied that the policy provided for procedures for removal from mailing lists etc.

After ordering the cover, I immediately opted out of the mailing lists, following the procedure in the privacy policy to the letter, and received confirmation from the company that my message had been received and that I had been blocked from receiving marketing messages. However, I started receiving marketing emails anyway. I replied to every message and the original confirmation message indicating the error and requesting to be removed from their lists. However, it took a complaint to the BBB to finally be removed from their mailing lists - or so I thought.

However, when it was time to remove the winter cover from the pool, it turned out that it was leaking. Poolwater is seeping through seems in the cover, making it impossible to remove it from the pool without dumping some of the dirty water on top of the cover into the pool (I tried to pump off as much as possible). I reviewed the instructions and they mention that leakage is normal, however, this is not mentioned prior to purchase. I called several pool service companies in the area no one shares the view that leakage is normal. However, by noting it in the instructions included in the box this company tries to absolve itself from misinformation and deception.

This company is abusing marketing methods to the level of harassment and delivers inferior products. If you decide to deal with this company, proceed with extreme caution.

8/13/07 update: Now I started getting catalogues by mail again as well. These people are completely incompetent. Stay away!
