Spectrum Chandeliers Gallery 802, Gallery 87, Great Chandeliers Upon phone contact I was informed that my order could not be processed unless I purchased items totalling $1000.00 or more. Nowhere on their plethora of AKA web sites is that disclosed. Internet

Upon phone contact I was informed by David that my order would not be processed for less than a total of $1000.00.  It's not only critical but ethical that this restriction is visibly disclosed, yet nowhere on their plethora of various web sites does this restriction appear. According to David that same disclosure just hasn't been added "yet".  The fact that they were offering 20% off the total order on only one of their many web sites for the same merchandise, my order would now need to total over $1,250.00.  The fact that they are of the few if not the only company that refuses returns created serious doubt in my mind to pursue any purchase of that escalated total.    Also, an ethical company would offer the same sales/discounts on the same merchandise with consistency.  It's hit and miss whether a consumer will realize any of their advertised sales - it all depends on which of their numerous web sites boasting a different company name you happen to visit

I had continually researched all the numerous complaints, all seemingly parallel, filed online against Spectrum/Great Chandeliers/Gallery 802/Gallery 87/Freedom Crystals/Spectrum Home Furnishings, etc., etc.  Since this company is clearly still in business I elected to phone them directly to best ascertain if their allegedly poor ethics and customer service had improved. Upon phone contact I was informed by David that my order totaling $635.00 would not be processed unless I purchased a total no less than $1000.00.  This restriction is not posted anywhere on any of their web sites.  According to David that same disclosure "just hasn't been added yet".  It is not only critical but ethical that this restriction is visibly disclosed.  Further, the fact that they were offering 20% off on only one of their many web sites for the exact same merchandise at the exact same pricing, my order would now need to total over $1,250.00.  Since they are of the very few online chandelier purveyors that refuses returns created serious doubt in my mind to pursue any purchase albeit an escalated total or not.  Also, a company who operates ethically would offer the same sales/discounts on the same merchandise with consistency.  It's hit and miss whether a consumer will realize any of Spectrum's and all their AKA's advertised sales - it all depends on which of their numerous web sites boasting a different company name you happen to visit.  I suggest consumers not slide on their research before indulging with possible irreconcilable regret.
