Long story made short: strongly advise serious shoppers to avoid these companies. You will most likely sustain a significant loss.

Ordered more than $2,000 in products in December, 2008, with promise of delivery in 10 days. Products not received, no communication, no return telephone calls until February, 2009. Of the 3 products supposedly shipped, only 1 was ever received. Numerous telephone conversations with Spectrum, Gallery 84, my credit card company, UPS (the shipper) failed to resolve. Spectrum refused to trace the shipment, and would not refund any of the moneys. Promises of return telephone calls were never honored -- and I'm referring to more than 40 telephone calls with each telephone call ending "... we will check and call you back....." Not a single call was ever returned. Personnel are polite but ineffective, and their attitude resonates "I don't care." Never a sincere offer of assistance, and a lot of "passing the buck." We only requested the products be found, shipped, and received. Never got any compliance. This was a $2,000 loss and a lot of ill will.

They were shipping domestically (US); were never asked to ship internationally.

I believe these are "middle men," who market on EBay, magazines, etc., receive your order, and then have it "drop shipped" by the actual manufacturer or supplier. Products, if received, are fine. The service is the detriment; and if you do not receive your product, they have their moneys and truly seem not to care. Proceed at your own risk. Buyer Beware!
