Spectrum Internet Time Warner Cable Charged an unauthorized and unreasonable $87,000 early termination fee because they could not provide necessary services Coeur d'Alene Idaho

We have been using Time Warner/Spectrum as our business internet provider for over 7 years. We have used them because we valued the business relationship we had built with them, even though they are one of the more expensive services providers in the area. We relocated our business in October 2017 - into a newer, nicer building in downtown CDA, approximately 4 blocks from our previous location.

We reached out to TWC/Spectrum 30 days in advance of our move. Unfortunately, they could not provide the fiber services when we needed services to be provided at our new building, as of October 2017. We, as a business, could not afford the downtime that TWC/Spectrum's inability to provide that service would have cost us. We were forced to look for service elsewhere. We did not want to look for service elsewhere, we were forced to look for service elsewhere.

On January 8, 2018 TWC/Spectrum debited our business account for over $87,000 as an early termination fee because they could not provide the services we needed, within the timeline they were needed, at our new location.

Do not do business with TWC/Spectrum. There are more cost-effective and ethically sound providers in the area.
