do NOT sign with this agency- Spectrum and Cheryl Murphy scammed my daughter big time!
She said she was interested in my daughter but we needed to attend classes at an acting school here in town (another scam). We now live in LA and Vegas. The classes were awful, my daughter came out crying 2 times saying how bad the teacher was! Then, we were pressured by the lady at the school to get pictures too. I spoke to other parents with Spectrum and they all went to the same school. Obviously, Murphy is getting money to refer people to this acting joke of a school. The teacher, a guy named Lee, was a complete SLEAZE BALL. One time in class he was totally stoned.
Anyways, to this day, Spectrum hasn't booked one thing for my daughter or even one audition. The school even had the nerve to call us again saying "Cheryl said you needed more training"... more training for what? Spectrum hasn't obtained one audition for my daughter and she was already in training for one year.
Spectrum really got my daughter's hopes up and Cheryl should be ashamed of what she did for a bit of money. What a scammer.
DO NOT SIGN OR GO NEAR SPECTRUM TALENT-CHERYL MURPHY IN LAS VEGAS OR LA!
WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sheryl used to send people to casting call entertainment. They scam people by telling clients that are from LA and will represent you in las vegas. Sharry the owner of casting call(now closed down) ran simalar scams. They worked together and did model shoots without a license. These people are predators and I will make sure they never scam anyone again. Beware of sharrys other company darkwater productions. She scams actors into paying for imdb credits. There is so much to write about these scumbags but it would take a book to explain everything about these people. Beware and run!!!
