In 1991, I purchased a vehicle from then mecums countryside motors along with an extended warranty at a cost of about $650.00. When it came time to use the service & calling the warranty company to cover the cost of my repair, they had no information on me or the vehicle along with others who called the warranty company also. I discovered from my local newspaper that mecums had been named in a class action lawsuit but I was two weeks to late to join as mecums had relocated to Florida but was ordered back to IL. to answer to the charges. Months later guess who opens up as speedway? I just happen to be looking at another purchase when I overheard someone say mr. mecums name. After verifying my suspicions, I promptly gathered my family & hauled butt out of there. BEWARE PEOPLE, BEWARE!!!
