SPEEDY CASH The below email was in my spam e-mail box today (7/19/2017 and I've no clue what it is for. I've never taken a loan out for $848.43. So, I google the email address that was included in the California Credit & Debt Services: CREDITOR: SPEEDY CASH (ADV.AMERICA) Austin, TX Austin TX

This Proceeding issued on you Docket No: - U1D27M6 with one of ADVANCE AMERICA INC. Company in order to notify you that after making calls to

.you on your phone number we were not able to get hold of you so the accounts department has decided to mark this case as a flat refusal and press legal charges against you.

 

We have sent you this warning notification about legal proceedings on September 15th, 2016 but you failed to respond on time now it’s high time if you failed to respond in next 12 HOURS we will register this case in court. Consider this as a final warning and we will be Emailing/Fax this issue to your current employer to make sure they take strict actions against you. Your salary and all your wages confiscated.

 

We will be forced to proceed legally against you and once it is processed the creditor has entire rights to inform your employer and your references regarding this issue and the law suit will be the next step which will be amounting to $8679.68 and will be totally levied upon you and that would be excluding your attorney charges.

Looks like the scammers have changed their email a little bit. It is still a scam. You can read all about it on the FTC.gov website. This scam is the Payday Loan Collection scam - one of many. It has been around for a very long time. They change their email content occassionally and it looks like your email contains slightly different information. The scary part is the last paragraph which should never be acknowledged, downloaded, signed or any other method. 

Thank you for posting the new email so others can learn about this scam too.

I'm glad you know its a scam and hope you just deleted it. Or, more accurately, do what FTC.gov says to do with the scam emails.

Stacy Anderson attorney for Speedy Cash att.stacyanderson@gmail.com Speedy Cash She being very harassing and rude, convinced my eldery sick mother to get rides to Wal-Mart to buy $800 in Steam Cards or be prosecuted by her in lieu of Speedy Cash.Told her to take pictures of the cards and send them, being scared and elderly having trouble, the woman made threats, raised her voice and caused her much stress and grief for months. Mother had to get help from neighbors to apprase this nasty woman. She claimed not to get payments and to send more money cards. When I became aware of her crying, sttessed out, having to take drugs due to the to her treatment. $800.00 had been given to att.stacyanderson@gmail.com in Steam cards from Wal-Mart. I called Speedy Cash and my mother has never had a loan from them , nor do they take payments in steam cards and they do have a fax number. This woman who had a man in the background named Michell is using FRAUD to scam and hurti our elderly on a fixed income.  internet
