www.rwguide.com owner Spencer Forest of Austin, Texas is currently trying to blackmail our company. he is the owner of Russian women guide.
He claims to have an open forum about agencies with mail order brides from Russia, yet he takes money to pay for his site from agencies and then does not allow any negative feedback about those agencies on his website. he is a scammer.
Our agency decided to not pay him and he has since been defaming us in his message forum and banned our ip address so we could not respond. if any of our members go there to try to tell them we are doing a good job, spencer forest then calls them liars and pushes them around on the site. he approves all information that is allowed to be posted to his site...several agencies on his site are known scammers including european connections, a foreign affair, getmarriednow.com to name a few.
he has allowed on member of his that pays him jehu hand of www.athenaagency.com to say that he went on two of our tours, which he did not, and never met any women. this is a complete lie...we wrote this jehu hand annonymously about this and he said the same thing to us..we are preparing to file a libel and defamation case against www.rwguide.com and they currently have one lawsuit now filed by another agency out of dallas that is ongoing..in a move to try to avoid liability, spencer forest sold the www.rwguide.com yet will not disclose who owns it but on the who is he is still listed as the owner.
do not trust this site if you are looking for russian women as they are just a scam site that tries to blackmail legitimate agencies into paying them to avoid being destroyed by spencer forest and www.rwguide.com

I got taken by the Russian Woman Guide that used to be run by Spencer Forrest and several other other Russian dating sites. MOST of the Russian bride sites are fraud sites. Yes this most certainly is the same Spencer Forrest that runs Appiction llc.

Thinking about hiring Appiction.com to develop my new business's iPhone app and I was doing some research on their CEO. It looks like this might be the same Spencer Forrest. Can someone tell me more about this russian bride scam? Haven't paid Appiction any funds yet, but I really want to get this new business launched and they seem like good app developers. Please let me know if should be leery.

I used to own Athena Agency and at the time of this complaint I was the owner. I do not know Mr. Forest and have no indication he is dishonest. I understand he ran a forum called RWguide.
I never placed any paid advertising with Mr. Forest or his site. We talked about it but I never did place any advertisement or pay him any money. The author of this complaint would have known that I had no paid advertisement there. I think I mentioned my travel agency in his free commercial postings area. I have no idea whether he blocked negative comments about non-advertisers. He never blocked any comments about my business.
The author of this complaint, in my opinion, is just angry about negative postings from many different persons (including myself) with respect to his business. About one week after this posting, I think this same complainer is the one who made a bogus complaint about Athena on the ripoff report.
Advertisers above have met our
strict standards for business conduct.
