Company placed an ad online for sales representative to market SEO service to businesses.  Hired 20-25 people including myself.  After accepting employment, I was sent an email confirming employment and outlining the pay.

Pay was supposed to be distributed twice per month.  Just before payday, I got a call just before going into work notifying me that the principals fired the entire statff and refused to pay.

It seems apparent that the company is in financial trouble and out of desperation attempted to start a telephone boiler-room operation that did not work.  Another clue is that they recently moved from a penthouse suite on Miami Beach, to a broken down building in the Miami Design district.

One of the products they attempt to market is the Google Places listing to businesses for a set-up fee of $399.00.  This is an, otherwise, free service and anyone can update their listing free. 

For an additionall $299.00 or $399.00 per month they "guarantee" first page placement on Google Places when actually, they just buy AdWords advertising.  Thus, when the money runs out, the first place position disappears. unless the client continues to pay.  This is not SEO.

They have had several addresses over the past couple of years.  They also claim to have offices in Los Angeles and New York.  There is no staff at these addresses.  Just an answering service rerouted to a Miami phone number.

The owner is loud, obnoxious and a very unhappy individual.  I overheard him tell an employee to tell a vendor he was not in the office.  Avoid SpiderBoost.
