Spinnaker Resorts-Grand Regency At Thousand Hills Condominiums Ripoff Fraudulent and Deceptive Actions Branson Missouri

On June 18, 2003, we purchased a time-share at the Grand Regency at Thousand Hills Condominium described in the Declaration of Condominium for Grand Regency at Thousand Hills Condominiums, recorded in book 0389, page 0035, Week Numbers 42, Unit Number G232A and G232B.

We placed a down payment to Spinnaker Resorts and made several payments to EFI Funding Company, PO Box 5119, Buffalo, NY 14240-5119, (888) 373-77678 (Billing) and (800) 377-5953 (Collections). The time-share was scheduled to be ready for occupancy on 1 January 2003.

I wrote several letters to Spinnaker Resorts (to several different addresses), the Grand Regency Office (Branson Missouri), and Doreen Fane (sp) in Orlando Florida. We were given Doreen's name by Sherry LNU Last Name Unknown) Owner Relations Department Manager, The Grand Regency at Thousand Hills Condominiums, from as early as February 2003 to inquire on the status of our time-share purchase. We have not received any correspondence from any of the above addressees.

During our attempts to contact representatives of Spinnaker Resorts we received our Warranty Deed certified by Mr. Robert A. Dixon, Recorder, Taney County, Missouri. The Warranty Deed was recorded in Record Book 411 at Page 8611 of the Taney County Records. The Warranty Deed was sent under-cover by the Mr. Jack P. Qualey, Jr. for the Qualey Law Firm, P.A. 32 Office Park Road, Suite 100 Courtyard Building, PO BOX 10, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina 29938, Tel: (843) 785-3525, Fax: (843) 785-3526, e-mail: jackqualey@qualeylaw.com.

Mr. Qualey also confirmed the deed was recorded as stated above. The original owner's title insurance policy, No. 72097740-31212, was issued by the Chicago Title Insurance Company and included with the Warranty Deed.

To try to resolve this issue, I have also contacted EFI Funding (address and telephone numbers listed above). They were not able to assist me in any way.

We have not been able to resolve this issue as of this writing.
