Spirit Incentives Doing Business With Silverleaf Resorts I WAS DUPED! Fort Lauderdale Florida

I, like a few others, entered into a no-strings attached drawing. The prizes were a choice between a 3/2 in two different cities. The monday after entering (i entered on a Saturday) I received several calls, 3 within 3 hours never leaving a message.

When I called the number back I was informed I had won the trip. I was told I needed to drive an hour away to tyler, tx (i live in dallas) to pick up my vouchers.

Since I was convienently driving to a resort to pick up my Spirit Incentives vouchers, they needed to schedule a time for me to pick them up and after a short presentation with no obligation to buy, I would receive my vouchers for a $40 visa, $40 gas vouchers, and a chance to win a shopping trip, new vehicle, or YET ANOTHER TRIP!

WOW!

So, after spending about 3 hours with a very nice older gentleman viewing a lovely property, it was time to talk money. My boyfriend and I wanted time to think on spending $10,000 on a not too sensible vacation hotel in various places, so we informed our guide we would wait. He motioned for a woman to join us and quickly walked away.

As our guide before, this woman was nice, just a little pushy. We immediatley told her we were not ready to make such a rash decision with our finances, yet she persisted. She tried to tell us we must have been referred by a member of the resort because the packages we received were not for the (as she looks down her nose) contest entries. Ha! I said nothing! ;-)

Getting bored, hungry, and aggrevated, we were ready to leave. It had been almost 4 hours! Our lady friend had finally gotten up after cutting us a small deal which we rejected and motioned for a man in a suit to visit our table. This man, Randy, was the reason we absolutely would never purchase anything from Silver Leaf Resorts.

He was rude and condescending. After we had to listen to him ramble on we asked if we could take the paper with the "financial options", he rudely replied "these are today's prices, they don't matter anymore" snatched up the papers and walked away.

We had to visit with one more person to receive our vouchers. She was a lovely young woman that informed us that Randy was rumored to be "on something" and he is just like that. We got our vouchers and won yet another trip. I saw that coming.

Today, I was going to enter my dates for my trips. When I hit google, I wasn't paying attention and clicked on thw first thing that popped up. It was the ripoffreport. Thank the Lord! All the spirit incentives stuff is going in the trash!
