1)… I ordered mushroom spores for microscopic research on October 6, 2017.

2)… My order was shipped out on October 11, 2017 and arrived in Thailand where I was staying on December 25, 2017 (the Thailand post office does not recognize "Christmas" as a valid Thai holiday). So… it took 80 days from the time I ordered my product till the time I received it!

3)… Also, instead of sending the product discretely, as they advertise, they sent an invoice in the package stating exactly what I ordered, which could have easily set off alarm bells at Thai Customs. Really stupid.

4)… Also, on their website they state: "if you are located in Canada or International your order will be processed using the CAD dollar system." However, they charged me in USD. Ripped me off of a few dollars by charging me in USD, instead of CAD.

5)… When I took out the spore syringe from the envelope it came in, it looked like plain, clear water. Nevertheless, I attempted to grow mushrooms using the syringe, and after two attempts and no results, I decided to ask for a refund.

6)… Spores101 claims on rip-off report that:


"Innersight Trading has a very detailed and reliable satisfaction guarantee that they implement for every website and transaction. If you are not satisfied with what you received you can request a full refund and it will happen. It has happened for every single customer that has requested it. ... Anyone that has an issue with Innersight Trading please email sales@innersight-trading.com or contact 250-932-1116 and our staff will be happy to help you sort out the situation."

THIS IS A TOAL LIE!!!

When I emailed sales [at] innersight-trading.com, NO ONE REPLIED FOR 4 DAYS.

So, I went to Spores101 website and sent an email using their email address.

7)… So, when this chump named Andrew, who can't even spell kindergarten-level words correctly in his emails, tells me: "I have credited your Spores101.com account with enough to points to redeem a new syringes. I can not offer a refund as the order was placed to long ago… over 4 months ago. This our Company policy," I reminded him that I received my order on Dec 25, 2017, the four-month delay was due to the inordinate amount of time it took to arrive at my door. I placed the order on Oct 6, and received it on Dec 25. Go figure. Also, I used the syringe w/in that 2 week period that he was referring to. Maybe the syringe went bad because of how long it took to arrive... which is not my fault.

So, in effect they are telling me that I can't receive a refund because the order was placed so long ago, as if that really matters in my case.

If this company offered me $100,000 in credit from their website, I wouldn't use a penny of it. I don't do business with scam artists and losers.

Anyway, BUYER BEWARE!!!

THESE PEOPLE ARE GENUINE SCAM ARTISTS.

1)… I ordered mushroom spores for microscopic research on October 6, 2017.

Spores101:  What is the order number so we can verify you actually made an order.

2)… My order was shipped out on October 11, 2017 and arrived in Thailand where I was staying on December 25, 2017 (the Thailand post office does not recognize "Christmas" as a valid Thai holiday). So… it took 80 days from the time I ordered my product till the time I received it!

Spores101:  Its an international order and we have no control over how customs handles incoming orders into the country.  So that is completely out of our control and part of the risk you take when ordering from different countries.  You probably did not pay for xpress shipping and we sent it at the shipping method you paid for.

3)… Also, instead of sending the product discretely, as they advertise, they sent an invoice in the package stating exactly what I ordered, which could have easily set off alarm bells at Thai Customs. Really stupid.

Spores101:   We send the item as discrete as possible without lying about its contents.  We can't ship items through customs and not state what the contents is.  That would be illegal.   Every package has the description " Microscopy Samples ".  If that is not acceptable to you then please don't order.

Spores101: This is not true. All international orders are billed in USD funds.  The website states that all international orders are shipped from Canadapost.  It does not say you will be billed in CAD funds.

Spores101: First you stated nobody answered your request for refund but then you state that you spoke to Andrew and we offered you store credit?   Its terrible to see you making personal attacks and un-necessary comments about Andrew, I am sure that makes you look good.
  Ok so lets recap here   You ordered overseas and didn't pay for xpress tracked shipping.  Your order was delayed due to customs and shipping.  Those factors are completely out of our control.  So that is not our fault.  You ordered and we shipped the order with the tracking method you paid for.   You are upset that it wasn't discreet.. But we have to mention the contents on all international packages or it won't get through customs.  The package said "microsopy samples"  that is a discreet description of the product.  It did not mention spores or mushrooms.  We put the description as required.     You are upset about being billed in USD funds instead of CAD? Sorry for any mis-communication regarding this issue but all international orders are billed in USD funds.   The website does not say you will be billed in CAD funds.. Only Canadian orders are billed in CAD funds.   The syringe was clear due to ultrasonic vibrations to break up the spores.. Spores are microscopic and you can't see them with the naked eye.  If a spore syringe is made correctly it should be clear.  

  • So these are the facts.
  • You made an order and it was shipped.
  • You received the order.
  • You did get the items you ordered.
  • You complained and we offered you store credit.
  • Now your making online complaints and reports stating that we are a scam and rip off?
  • Please understand that if we are trying to scam you NONE of the facts above would have happened.

  A scam or rip off website would be more like these examples below:    1) Not create the order you submitted and just keep your funds.  We received your payment and processed the order and gave you a confirmation and an order number.   2) Not actually ship the order.  We sent the order and gave you an update that it was shipped.   3) If you were scammed no package would arrive.  The package did arrive.   4) You were not satisfied with the items and requested support.  We responded and offered you store credit.     So please explain to me how that is a scam and you got ripped off?
