My husband and I are marathon runners and we wanted to run the London Marathon in April 2019.

We went to the official London Marathon website to check the authorized travel agencies. Since we are form Costa Rica, we contacted Sportiva by Gamma to ask if it was possible to run the race in April 2019.

Randall Mendez responded to my inquiry and we started chatting through whatssapp. He explained the package details, that included 2 single rooms, since the runners could not be in the same room, and the numbers for us to run the marathon in April 2019. We made two deposits in his account, total of $2000.

Two months before the race I contacted him to check that everything was in order and he told us that it won't be possible to run the marathon as he promised. We asked him to return our money and we are still waiting for that to happen. We are taking legal actions in Costa Rica, he still sell marathon packages.
