I was charged an early termination fee. I called a month before disconnecting and the rep confirmed that i was no longer under contract, a month later i called to dispute the 400 charges and was not given the time of day none of the representatives would listen to me.

One of many reasons why it's the most hated cell carrier. If you deal with Sprint...get a WRITTEN contract and keep it handy...don't throw it away.
