SQ Butcher's Best Nico Evans,Carmelo A. Perez, Jr. Frozen meat and freezer deal is a scam. Norfolk Virginia

I thought I was being so careful, calling the salesman's phone, using a credit card and not cash or a check, and photographing the license plate and the other guy's ID. (The salesman didn't have his on him, so he said.)

The vehicle was a white pickup with an enclosed cab, VA temporary license plate 48022C and the salesman gave his name as Nico Evans. He gave me the number 540-336-6083 which I called and heard it ring. He offered to leave the meat while he went and bought a smaller freezer at Lowe's, but I had the freezer. He it frozen until he returned with the freezer. He called once to say he was stuck in traffic, but after that did not answer his phoneor return his calls.

The man with him was Carmelo Perez, Jr, of New Jersey. 

I have called my credit card issuer and they say the transaction was submitted under the name SQ Butcher's Best. I have to write a letter to get them to cancel the charge.
