I started geting letters from St. Matthews Church. It seemed ok at first. I sent money 3 or 4 times. Then I told them I was giving Money to my local Church and I was not able to send money at this time, I was also doing a Pledge to a Local TV station for Churches on the air. After my Pledges were fulfilled, then I could try to give money to them. Then they seem to send even more letters. I get 3 to 4 a week.

What made me stop to think about it was the letters I get from the TV pledges are signed by a person, and they have a physical address. The letter I get from St. Matthew's Church, are signed St. Matthew's Church. They call themselves a 57 year old church. Then I got a letter one day that said a 57 year old church on page 1 and on page 3 it said it was a 58 year old church. They don't seem to know how old they are. Every letter after that was different. One would say 58 the next 57, Then I would read one thing on page 1 and something different on the next page, or next letter. It seems that they were not keeping the stories constitant.

I just sent a letter back asking for the Preachers name and physicall address. I will be in Tulsa Ok every other week and would like to be able to visit, and give a donation in person. I don't think that I will get an answer back on that. They sent a letter before saying I could not come to them so they would come to me by mail. I am from OK and I have a Daughter in Tulsa. So if I get a reply I will let everyone know. I will try to go to the church if I can find it.

I do believe however for the ones who did send money in faith, that GOD will still bless them. Just check in to it before you send any more money to them.

well known scam

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, February 01, 2009

This has been a well known scam for many decades.
Its also been welll known that the tulsa location is nothing but a mail drop and that the person who's scam this is, lives in california making $millions of this and other scams and is actually getting away with it often legally.

All you will find here is a small office that does mail opening and deposits of checks.

There is another 'saint mathews' but it doesnt even do mailings for $$.

In fact most churchs dont even come close to do this sort.
Those that do (like OralRoberts ministry used to), are often partially or fully fake.
