Stainsaf Protection From Bay Furniture ripoff would not honor my warranty on my furniture, all I want is my furniture fixed. Palm Beach Gardens Florida

On july 30,2003 called stain safe because my recliner back cracked as soon as I heard it I called. While on the phone the rep. asked me if there was anything else, so I pulled off the covers and notice at all the seams my furniture was falling apart. The rep said not a problem they said they send someone out.

On set.10,2003 the serviceman came out looked at the furniture and said that this always happens and showed me the knot in the wood where the recliner cracked,he also lookedat the loveseat and couch and seen all the seams were ripping and the springs were also coming through. He also told me that hapens alot, he said no poblem the prts will be in in 10 days.

Well 10-17-03 I called because I hadn't heard form nobody and they said they had sent me a letter asing for a cpy of my bill of sales an warranty cert. So I faxed it to them immediately.

On 10-25-03 I recieve a letter saying tey would not be fixing anything because it wasn't reported in time. So on 10-25-03 I called them and talked to a rep and she told me to write a letter to he claims department and hey wuld get back in 30 days. I also explained that I called as soon as I heard the recliner crack and the wood fell to the floor also that I keep covers on the furnitre to prevent stains and that for all I know the seams did rip within the 5 days.

Well it is Dec. 5 ,2003 and no one has returned my letter and my calls. It so funny how they want your money but don't want to waste their time with the claims. I aso called the better business bureau and no response.

I paid 2500.00 for this furniture in 09-03-01 because I thought it would last and I bought the warranty because they told me what a great deal it was and it would cover even if my teen agers spilled something on it, but it ripped and is falling apart and there is nothing they will do about it. Please tell me what I can do, all I want is my furniture fixed.
