Staley Bolds, Trading As Decor My Eyes, Emailish.com Bait and Switch scam, internet fraud. Brooklyn New York

On 1/14/09 I placed an order for a pair of Persol 2831 sunglasses via the decormyeyes.com website. The order was placed and the funds were removed from my mastercard account.

The next day I recieved an email from a Mr. Stanley Bolds, who claims to be the owner of the company telling me that the glasses I ordered had a minor crack in them and that they could not be sent. He then further advised that the product was out of stock and discontinued by Persol (not true) and that he could not send the model I liked.

When I told him I wanted the next closest item numbers in stock on his webpage, he tried to charge me full price for the difference ($60). When I informed him that a discount should be in order as I already made an order for glasses he didn't have in stock, he became insulting and when on the phone, flung racial and cultural insults at me. I demanded a refund and recieved one three days later when I believe Mr. Bolds discovered from my communication that I am a fraud investigator and former law enforcement officer.

I promptly reported this sad attempt at an online bait and switch scam to the NYS Consumer Protection Board, who on Friday 1/16/09 referred the complaint to the NYS Attorney General's Office - Internet Bureau, who can be reached at 212-416-8433 or faxed at 212-416-8369. Note: As of the time of this report, Decor My Eyes has the supposedly "discontinued" glasses listed for sale on google marketplace as well as their website.

I highly encourage the many other people reporting on this page to print out their report from here and fax it to the NYS Attorney General at the above fax number. Let's make sure that Mr. Bolds is arrested and brought to justice for these crimes that he has aapparently perpetrated on the public for a number of years.
