Standard Insurance denied payment to me for short term disibility, even though my medical documentation from my Dr(s) supported my time off of work. I have filed (2) seperate complaint forms to the Office Of The Commissioner Of Insurance/Wisconsin for seperate incidences that have occurred. The first time was for a mental disibility, and the second for surgeries I had. This is definately an insurance company you do not want to have a policy with. Very dishonest and crooked.
