Standard Technology Industries Posed as vendor that we had ordered from before and offered gift and special pricing Bethel Connecticut

A Dave Smith called offering 2" packaging tape at special pricing and offering a free gift ( A Sony Dream Machine clock radio). He claimed that we had ordered this before. I assured him it was a mistake as we did not have any use for 2" tape and had never ordered it. After talking, he identified another product that I did have a use for and 2 cases of shrink wrap was shipped. Upon receiving with no packing slip or invoice and part of the product missing, I called STI repeatedly only to get an answering machine. I "Googled" STI and what was at the top of the results: RIPOFFREPORT.COM!! I left a message stating I did not want the product and that they were a ripoff. My call was returned and I asked the price for the 2 cases. $189 per case of 8 rolls. That's $23.63 per roll. I buy a better product from another supplier for $5.81 per roll. Also,this guy insisted there were 12 rolls in a case not 8. When I informed him I did not want them and would like to return them, he said I could not because there was no RGA and the warehouse could not take them back. And also that because I had opened the cartons they could not be returned. I assured him that we were not paying for the product and would be returning it and hung up. He called back and was told by the owner the same thing I had told him and that he could have the product picked up. He became very beligerent proceeded to call back 30 times in a 15 or 20 minute period. So this overpriced crap is going in the trash if it not picked up in 90 days.
