I'm in metro Atlanta, Georgia and I received a check for 4,875.00 and a letter of instructions with a call back number from Standard Trust Inc. in Canada. I took the check and the letter to my bank and was told by the bank representative, "It's a scam"
I was told to destroy the check or to turn it in to the local Police department.

I've seen the same Ripoff report on Ripoffreport.com, but no report from Georgia. I want to let the people of Georgia and across the United States know about this scam.

With the economy and Gas prices, price of food, It's a low down dirty scam to prey on people at such a time as this.

These people need to be Stopped! set up a sting operation and catch the persons picking up the Western Union or Money Gram.

Like the hunter that got captured by the gain, Somehow scam the scammer.... Send them a fake Western Union or Money Gram and wait till the fools to claim their winnings, Pick 'Em up and Present them with the Grand prize... Jail!

So many people, families are in a financial rut and hoping for Blessings and Miracles, A way to take care of their families and just basic needs, Trying to survive... and to give a person false hope, playing on the emotions of the lowly and hurting, striving Citizens is beyond insane.

Don't let them get away with it.... Let the truth be known. We can stop them!

Standard Trust Inc., Mr. Howard Richard and Joseph I. Peter I pray your little operation is exposed to the world and the innocent and the elderly that you have ripped off see you prosecuted by the American and Canadian Government.

If you or some one you know received a Check and A Letter from Standard Trust Inc., Please, Tell them not to trust the instructions or send any money. Report it to your Bank or your local police department or the Postal Inspector.
