These guys refused to cancel my subscription by email (citing banking error as a reason!) and asked me to call their office. After calling them and canceling the subscription which they confirmed, the crooks have continued to charge my credit card for a year !

Infact this is the second time they did this. I thought the first time was a mistake. But this is now a confirmed fraud.

See below evidence in mail extracts. The reason I canceled the subscription was there was nothing in the reports worth reading ! Its just crap.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Customer officer,

I have been debited $5 by you for several months.

Please note I am CLUELESS as to why is this amount charged. Please note that I have NO memberships of any kind with you. Please see below mail. I WROTE TO YOU LAST YEAR TO CANCEL THE MEMBERSHIP AND FOLLOWED IT UP BY A PHONE CALL AND YOU CONFIRMED THE SAME ON PHONE.  YET YOU HAVE CONTINUED TO CHARGE ME.
WHAT IS TO STOP YOU FROM SAYING THAT I NEVER CALLED UP? WHY CAN'T YOU TAKE A CANCELLATION ON MAIL? WHAT SECURITY REASONS DO YOU HAVE?

PLEASE CANCEL THIS SUBSCRIPTION IMMEDIATELY.

Please reverse the charges. I have never logged in. Besides what is the point of calling you if you engage in such practices.

Please confirm by return mail that you have cancelled my subscription. This behaviour is truly regrettable. People have other work to do besides calling you again and again to cancel subscriptions.

Regards,

We ask subscribers to call in to cancel because of security purposes. We do not want to discuss credit card information via email, because it is not safe.

We cancel subscriptions via phone based on the cancelation policy outlined in our terms and conditions. We cancel automatic renewals via telephone as well.

We do like to confirm credit card information with a subscriber when we issue a refund. If you have any more questions about our cancelation policies, we would be happy to answer them. Our customer service team is available Monday Friday, 9-5 EST. That number is 1-888-261-2693.
