If considering any of Stanton Sound and Vision (Stantonsoundvision ID on Audiogon) listings know this;
Stanton Sound and Vision claims to be selling ARC / JADIS / LEVINSON Amplifiers on consignment.Though shipping is stated from Bedford,NY they have no location in that town.
Consignment Seller is Ted Tine of Ted Tine MotorSports in Chester,CT. who Stanton S&V will give your #.
When Ted calls you He will tell you he knows nothing about these amps as he is selling them for his deceased original owner audiophile friends widow(tired old story)......this is a lie.
The gear in question was purchased by Ted at an Auction located at Sikorsky Airport....I was there. The gear was stacked up like cord wood,mostly face down on thier handles as those in charge were clueless....All gear in highly questionable operating capacities with poor cosmetics due to unappreciative handling and storage.
As none of this gear has sold in 45 + Days listed on Audiogon I assume all other members remain scam aware...This posting is for those new or who might be considering.
