Star Capita Seurities - Brenda Hicks - George Stanley Attempted Rip-off American Shoppers Sweepstakes 125, 129.00 US Dollars Chatham Ontorio

On 10-3-08 I received a letter in the mail stating that I had won a prize from the 'American Shoppers Sweepstakes' in th amount of $125,120.00. There was also a check enclosed in the amount of $4,875.00 to be deposited in my bank and $2,975.00 would be used to pay the Government tax.

The letter stated that when the winnings were processed, I would then receive the remainder of the prize money in the amount of 120,125.00.

Yo say the least, I smelled a rat! So I contacted the bank printed on the check (First Community Bank of Hillsboro) and was told that the check presented by Star Capital Securities was a fraud!

I then contacted Brenda Hicks and told her that the check I received was noty worth the paper it was printed on and she was running a scam! Of course she hung up on me!

My motto is, trust no one and suspect everone when money is involved!
